"I must read and study the catechism daily, and yet I cannot master it as I wish, but must remain a child and pupil of the catechism - and I do so gladly." - Martin Luther

Even though we normally take up catechesis at a young age in the Lutheran Church, this does not mean we now know the Bible and the Christian life perfectly.  Far from it!  Even Dr. Martin Luther readily admits he approaches the catechism (which is simply a summary if the Bible and Christian teachings on it) daily as a child.  And so we do the same, reading and studying the bible and its teachings over and over.

Sunday Bible Class

Each Sunday Pastor Mullins take the adults in the congregation through the Bible.  Here is an opportunity for both those new to God's Word and those well acquainted with it to ask questions and grow in their understanding of God's Holy Word for us.

Midweek Confessions Study

The Lutheran Confessions in the Bool of Concord do not add to the Bible, but rather use the Bible to help answer questions of the Christian faith.  here we found answered such questions as:

  • What is sin, and how does it effect me?
  • Do men have free will?
  • Why does God allow suffering?
  • What exactly does Jesus' life, death, and resurrection mean for me?
  • How am I to live as a Christian?

If you would like to learn more about Biblical Christianity and the historic Evangelical Lutheran Faith, join us for study Wednesday nights at 6 between the months of April and November.

"Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another." - Hebrews 10:24-25

As members of Christ's risen body, we are not separate from one another.  We are no longer dead in sin, but alive in Christ.  So, as we are encouraged to do in Hebrews, we gather together often.  We do this to encourage one another as we suffer in this life.  We do this to hear God's Word, receive His gifts, and give praise to God together.  And we also do this to encourage one another in good works.  In light of this, in addition to Sunday worship, the members of Trinity gather throughout the month to pray together, hear God's Word together, encourage one another, and serve our neighbors and community.  One way this is done is through our Men's Group and Ladies' Aid.

Men's Group

Our Men's group meets once a month to study God's Word together, pray together, and encourage one another.  Trinity's Men's Group also looks for opportunities to serve our neighbors in the love of Christ.  If you would like to join us in this, please reach out to us for our next meeting time and location.

Ladies' Aid

Our Ladies' Aid meets together monthly to study God's Word together, pray together, and encourage one another.
